Common Warts

Save a lot of precious time that would be allocated to case study research and simply read the following article.

Common warts are just that, fairly common. Many people get them, and they appear without any reason. Warts can appear on young people, older people and anyone in between. Also, it doesn't matter what type of skin you have either, as anyone is susceptible. For those that have never had a wart, they might not understand how to deal with them.

Common Warts are caused by the HPV virus, also known as the Human Papilloma Virus. There are many other types of warts that may be found on various parts of the body. Plantar warts are found on the feet and can cause great discomfort when walking, even if the individual's shoes are not tight fitting. If you know anything about HPV viruses, then you know that this is the virus that can also cause genital warts. This virus causes warts to appear on the genital area of both males and females. There are various types of warts that may appear on different parts of the skin. If you find that you have a common wart, then there is most likely not a cause for alarm, as they are normally not harmful.

A common wart is usually found on the hands. You may notice that it is close to one of your fingernails, especially on areas that may be dry or cracked. Some of them may have a bit of a bumpy appearance and a few people will even notice black dots. Because of their shape, some of these warts can often times get caught on your clothing or even gloves when you are trying to put them on.

If you do suffer from common warts, then you should know that there are several methods to use in order to get rid of them. Some of the over-the-counter treatments have been known to work quite well. Also, if the holistic approach is what you desire, then there are also essential oils that have been known to do the trick. These types of treatments, however, will not work for genital warts caused by the HPV virus. If you find that your home remedies are not working well for your common types of warts, or you simply want to cut to the chase, then visit your doctor to have the wart frozen off, burned off with a laser or even cut off through a minor surgical procedure.
